Since installing Windows 8 Pro, the operating system is not recognizing my AVG Internet Security 2013, and keeps red flagging that both Windows and AVG Security are turned off. The AVG Control Centre is showing that my computer is fully protected, and all systems are working correctly.
As a temporary measure, I can switch off all the Windows monitoring, or activate Windows Firewall and Defender. I worked for quite a while with AVG support staff, who were extremely helpful, but we have done all the checking we can.

To change this, open the workbook, select the "Formula" tab (Alt M), then click "Calculation Options" and the select "Automatic". I think this can happen when you end up with different data types in the fields in the given range.
Can you check and make sure the data in there is all still numerical?
I have tested the components in my PC and have isolated the problem to the Windows updating.I hunted it down manually by going through files that I didn't recognize.I do not recall the exact name of the file, but found that it took up a disproportionate amount of disk space, but I do know that it started with the name "AVG" and was confirmed by many to be a Trojan horse virus.I do not know how I can bypass this problem as the update is then required again after shutting the down and rebooting it. Usually changing the "Workbook Calculation" option (Excel 2010) solves the problem, but if it didn't, probably the workbook itself is set to manual calculation.
